The Clarinet
I have been playing the clarinet for 20 years, in an orchestra and as part of a small music group.
It lends itself to all types of music from pop and jazz to classical, from solo playing to group work.
Young or Old
The clarinet is quite easy to learn to play, and has a lovely rich, mellow tone.
The clarinet is a good instrument for children to follow on from the recorder, but if you are a complete beginner of any age that's fine!
